Standards forarmored Low smoke halogen-free insulated flame retardant power cable:
This low smoke halogen free power cable is in accordance with the standards of GB/T 19666-2005 and GB/T 12706-2008, and its properties also meets relevant standards. For example, the flame retardant performance conforms to the requirements for class A in GB/T 18380.3-2008, the smoke density (transmittance) satisfies the low-smoke standard of GB/T 17651-1998, the corrosivity of burning gas reaches the GB/T 17650-1998 standard, the transmittance and HCL gas emission when the our product catches fire also meets relevant standards.
The low smoke halogen free power cable has an allowed working temperature of 90℃ for long-term operation, and the maximum temperature for the conductor when short circuit happens should be lower than 250℃, and the lasting time of short circuit is not over 5 seconds.
For the low-halogen low-smoke type, the permitted operating temperature for long time working is 70℃. The short circuit lasts less than 5 seconds, and the maximum temperature for the conductor is not over 160℃.
When laying the cable, the ambient temperature should be above 0℃, and there are also some requirements for the minimum bending radius. For single core type, the minimum bending radius is 20 times of the outer diameter for armored cable, and 15 times of OD for unarmored one. For multi-core type, the values are 15OD and 12OD for armored and unarmored cables, respectively.
